The EC135 is a powerful and versatile twin‑engine helicopter, engineered by Eurocopter to meet a variety of mission requirements.
 

The EC135 made its first flight in Wikipedia February 1994, was developed from the MBB Bo 108 prototype, and entered service in 1996. Today, over 1,400 units have been delivered to 300 operators in 60 countries, accumulating over 5 million flight hours. 

Two engine options are available: the Turbomeca Arrius 2B2 (472 kW continuous power) and the Pratt & Whitney Canada PW206B2 (463 kW). Both are equipped with Full Authority Digital Engine Control (FADEC), Helicopter Specs which automates engine management and provides protection and monitoring.

Theory was 4 weeks online with 2 weeks of practical in Monfalcone, Italy at EliFriulia. They run a very good course, obviously you can never beat manufacturer training but the instructor is ex Airbus, so the knowledge is still at OEM level!
